About Dedicated Aide

The Dedicated Aide is an import part of the student success and special education team. Each Dedicated Aide is an integral member of the GGA instructional team who will be responsible for supporting special education students with personalized and focused supports. This role reports to the Special Education Coordinator and will work closely with teachers to support one or more students.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree preferred but not required.
  • Have a minimum of three years of work in a school environment.
  • Background knowledge with IEPs and special education students preferred.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of instructional strategies for students with disabilities.
  • Ensure Student Access & Success
  • Build Relationships & Collaborate
  • Collect, Analyze, & Respond to Data
  • Follow your student’s / your schedule plus, department meetings, schoolwide meetings.
  • Model and reinforce our Special Population belief
