Responsibilities Hospital-based position performing ultrasound procedures in both ambulatory and hospital environments Work schedule is 4x10 hour night shifts, Tuesday to Friday Patient populations include newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric Duties include high quality ultrasound imaging, including invasive procedures when necessary Responsible for preparing patients and work areas, following sterile techniques, and maintaining equipment Uses PACS and EMR for record management and workflow processes Responsibilities include instructing and communicating with patients and their families regarding procedures Must adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times Must participate in maintaining supply inventory and addressing equipment concerns Scrub color is any color except inappropriate prints First aid administration and use of emergency cart may be required Ability to serve as a trainer for new team members is expected Returning employees may be subject to eligibility check prior to assignment Requirements Current ARDMS and / or RVT certification required 3-5 years of relevant ultrasound technologist experience required Active TX state license required if applicable Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (August–November) Two professional references required for consideration Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius; no local travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618739.
