Position : Counselor II (QMHP)
Department : IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
Salary Range : $66,081.00 - $ 83,512.00 (annual). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements : Master's degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required. Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Combination of education / experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Summary : The Counselor II provides therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned. Duties may vary per location / department. In this role, the Counselor II conducts comprehensive clinical assessments as a part of the diagnostic process, reviews ongoing delivery of services, identifies individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and / or mental health disorders. Conducts individual, family and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals. As member of clinical staff and treatment teams, assists in case management and coordination of community resources to meet client needs.
