What Is the Operations Superintendent Role?

As an Operations Superintendent, you'll lead large-scale production operations in a fast-paced, high-volume facility. You'll manage 100+ team members (including supervisors), drive daily operational goals, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Maintenance, FSQA, R&D, and Planning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leading people, ensuring quality, and driving performance through continuous improvement and Lean principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams to meet daily and long-term performance goals
• Drive operational efficiency and compliance (HACCP, SQF, USDA)
• Collaborate across departments to align on strategy and execution
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges
• Create a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement

What We Look For in Our Ideal Candidate

57 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production

Experience managing 100+ team members with proven people leadership skills

Strong knowledge of compliance standards (HACCP, USDA, SQF, etc.)

A sense of urgency, accountability, and a problem-solving mindset

Ability to thrive in a cold, fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
