Certified Coding Quality Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and ensure compliance with coding processes and practices according to regulatory requirements

Conduct routine coding reviews and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement

Prepare written reports of findings and communicate recommendations to management and staff

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CCSP certification required

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM & CPT-4 coding conventions and medical terminology

Familiarity with DRG / APC reimbursement and health information systems
