Responsibilities

• Working with minimal supervision, support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations.
• Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized solutions for each guest and providing outstanding guest service through professional conduct and a passion for gaming.
• Ensure products are easy to see and buy; build sales by sharing product knowledge with guests; maintain a clean, organized store environment; grow guest loyalty and repeat business.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests, respond to questions / concerns, promote promotions, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop.
• Process guest purchases / returns accurately using the POS system; handle transactions with proper changes, receipts, and packaging.
• Escalate guest issues to the Store Manager when appropriate and assist in meeting guest service expectations.
• Promote GameStop benefits such as reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and compliance training for store associates; ensure understanding of policies and guidelines.
• Monitor associate performance, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with guest service expectations.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Store Manager, manage breaks, and supervise staffing to maintain guest service levels.
• Approve payroll, manage time off requests, and verify compensation for time worked.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily and manage inventory control to protect company assets.
• Assist in achieving sales, profit, and shrink goals; perform administrative and operational duties as required.
• Perform inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor.
• Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions; prepare closeout paperwork and bank deposits as required.
• Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct inventories and communicate findings to the Store Manager / District Manager.
• Process defectives / recalls and stock pulls accurately and promptly; label boxes with packing lists.
• Maintain awareness of guest and associate safety and report injuries as per guidelines.
• Support record-keeping and ensure manuals are up to date.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager's absence.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and the Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct; follow opening and closing procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

Benefits : Full-time store positions are eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance; bonuses and other incentives may apply.

Compensation : $10.75 - $14.75
