Job description

Overview

Coastal Precast Systems is seeking an entry-level mechanic with some experience to join our team as an Assistant Mechanic. This position offers hands-on opportunities in a fast-paced industrial setting, with a particular focus on electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist lead mechanics with equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Support in troubleshooting electrical issues in precast machinery
  • Maintain tools and ensure a safe and organized work area

Qualifications

  • Experience with 12-volt and 24-volt gas and diesel systems is strongly preferred
  • Basic mechanical knowledge with at least some hands-on experience
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Reliable and safety-conscious

  • Pay is based on experience; $16 / h starting
