The primary purpose is to provide each assigned patient with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the patient's assessment, plan of care and care plan, as may be directed by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Certification, and / or Licensure :
1. Current WV Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, or applicable state licensure where services will be performed, must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
2. Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check (where applicable).
3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
4. High school education or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience :
1. One year nursing assistant experience in long term care preferred.

2. Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights, with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis.
3. Hearing within normal range is required. (i.e. : to assess breath sounds, bowel sounds, apical pulse, monitors, etc.)
4. Visual acuity must be within normal range.
5. Must be able to perform heavy work : Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
