Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab Circulator position requiring an active VA or Compact RN license and strong Cath Lab and EP circulating experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in a hospital Cath Lab environment
  • Involves circulating responsibilities in Cath Lab procedures, including RLHC / PCI, Peripheral, and EP cases
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, 7 : 00 to 17 : 30
  • Call required : 2-3 call shifts per week, including both long and short call and 2 call weekends in a 6-week period
  • Must be able to report on-site within 30 minutes for long call
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Floating may be required per facility policy
  • Uses EPIC CUPID Cath EMR
  • Responsible for circulating on all Cath Lab cases, including emergency and non-emergent procedures
  • Must be smoke and nicotine-free while on duty
  • Hospital provides scrubs for staff
  • All travelers required to attend EPIC training (either accelerated or 2-day, based on prior experience)
  • Travelers who previously worked at this hospital must have at least a one-year break before returning as a traveler
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted initially and is subject to management approval
  • Must be able to work some holidays as assigned during the contract

  • Active VA or Compact RN license must be in hand for consideration
  • Minimum required experience as a Cath Lab Circulator with RLHC / PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating skills
  • Statement of recent EPIC EMR experience required; training provided if needed
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31) unless qualified exemption is documented
  • COVID vaccination required unless qualified exemption is documented
  • Hospital orientates with up to 7 hours of modules, completed during orientation
