Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, offers close proximity to the Kennedy Space Center, Canaveral National Seashore, and Playalinda Beach. Responsibilities include assessing physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop tailored treatment plans. You will evaluate how residents perform tasks such as bathing, dressing, transferring, and managing medications. Additionally, you will assess cognitive functions like memory, attention, and reasoning, and address emotional well-being to identify barriers to participation. You will teach residents new ways to perform daily activities, recommend assistive devices, and suggest environmental modifications for safety. OTs support community re-engagement, educate caregivers and family members on adaptive strategies, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
