Buffalo Hospital is looking for friendly, responsible and energetic people (16 ) that would like to volunteer at our hospital gift shop.

We currently have openings Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. Shifts are 4 1 / 2 hours long.

Volunteers at Buffalo Hospital are very much appreciated and play a very important role as we serve our community.

Duties include :

• To serve Gift Shop customers and assist them as needed.
• To assist on pricing gifts as needed as directed by Gift Shop Supervisor.
• To assist on ordering as needed and as directed by Gift Shop Supervisor.
• To assist on putting away weekly orders.
• To assist on displaying of merchandise and decorating the gift shop.
• To portray a friendly and customer service oriented environment in the Gift Shop and Hospital.
• To keep the Gift Shop neat and orderly.
• To stock items as needed.
• To open up or close down the gift shop, depending on shift worked.
• To use cash register and return change to customers.
• To maintain their own cash drawer and the cash bag daily.
• To complete a shift end cash receipts sheet daily.
• To attend training and orientation sessions as required for this position.
