Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
Manage existing account relationships through regular, daily communication and interaction with other team members
Data entry for order processing
Work closely with various departments to manage product/rental availability and service lead times
Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
Assist with development of new business opportunities and customers
Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
Daily quote and order follow up with vendors and customers by phone or via email
Assist with coordination of and occasionally attend trade shows
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Previous experience in distribution/technical sales or non-destructive sales in a similar role is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel or Word
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and self manage
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
