About The Position

Cardiology or Intermediate Care experience

Preferred experience in IMC and Cardiac Care

Description :

This is a role for a registered nurse in a Cardiology and Intermediate Care setting.

Candidates should have experience with patient care for adult to geriatric populations.

The facility consists of a 24-bed unit with varying patient ratios.

During day shifts, the RN may care for one RN to four patients with Intermediate Care needs.

Night shift ratios typically involve one RN to four to five Intermediate Care patients.

Equipment utilized includes standard cardiology monitoring equipment and IV pumps.

Floating to other units may be required based on patient needs.

Common diagnoses treated include STEMI, Non-STEMI, stroke, post-cath care, and ETOH-related cases.

Candidates should possess an associate's degree in nursing or higher, along with the required certifications.
