Johns Hopkins Community Physicians seeks a Lab Tech Cert / Phlebotomist at our Remington practice in Baltimore, Maryland. The Lab Tech reports to Practice Administrator, Administrative Supervisor. Performs various phlebotomy techniques in the collection of blood specimens for Inpatients and / or Outpatients. Performs simple laboratory tests, records and reports results. Ensures the accuracy of all data entry and processed specimens. Responsible for initiating or verifying that the correct action is taken to resolve all specimen collection and specimen processing problems. Reviews lab requisitions and collects pertinent clinical and insurance information. This position requires that all candidates utilize their phlebotomy skills on a regular basis as required by their assigned work area. May perform data entry, processing of specimens, both for in-house and referrals; billing functions, and all pre-analytic set ups (may be required to process lab payments).

Shift : Non-Exempt - Full-time Dayshift 40 hour per week - Work 3 days per week at the Dundalk Practice & 2 days at Remington Practice

What You'll Need to be Successful :

Salary Range : Minimum 17.82 / hour - Maximum 29.43 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
