Responsibilities Position is in an acute care radiology department specializing in general x-ray Work involves basic diagnostic radiography, C-arm cases for OR and spine center, and portable radiographs Department has two radiography rooms and rotates through main OR and pain center Uses Del Medical radiograph rooms, Canon Soltus mobile x-ray, AGFA mobile x-ray unit, and OEC c-arms EPIC is used for charting, and FJUI Synapse for PACS Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with no weekends or holidays required No call, standby, or self-scheduling required Black scrubs are required Daily operations include supporting OR cases, pain center procedures, and one-day surgery with spine cases using C-arm Orientation specific to the department will be provided Average daily caseload is approximately 35-50 pain cases and 15 main OR rotations All candidates interview directly with a manager Former perm or travel staff must have a 2-year break from any WVU Medicine location before being eligible Local travelers are not accepted No IV starts required Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting Current BLS (AHA) certification required ARRT (R) certification required WV state radiology license required Experience with C-arm and portable x-ray required Proficiency with EPIC EMR and FJUI Synapse PACS preferred Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility License required if applicable About Source Medical Staffing We come to work every day…to make a difference… to solve a problem… to work for you.
