We areseeking a Board-Certified Radiology Physician for a locums assignment inAsheboro, North Carolina. This onsite role focuses on mammography and generaldiagnostic imaging, with light interventional radiology and fluoroscopyresponsibilities.

AssignmentDetails

  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • Setting : Hospital-based, onsite
  • Systems Used :
  • EMR : Meditech
  • PACS : Intelerad
  • VR Dictation : Fluency

Responsibilities

  • Breast Imaging : Perform and interpret 3D mammography, digital mammography, and breast ultrasounds. Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
  • Fluoroscopy Procedures : Supervise and assist with 3–4 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures daily.
  • General Radiology : Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
  • Light Interventional Procedures (5–6 / day) : Image-guided biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
  • No interventional radiology call required.

  • Board Certification in Radiology
  • BLS / ACLS Certified
  • Active DEA Registration
  • CDS Certification
