Job description

Legacy Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate X-ray Technician on behalf of a reputable outpatient healthcare provider. This role is ideal for a certified radiologic technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. The position is Temp-to-Hire and is open to entry level candidates who just graduated from a program.

Position Overview

The X-ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and image quality. This individual will collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and maintain a clean, compliant, and patient-centered work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Imaging & Patient Care

  • Perform X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, following safety and aseptic protocols
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a growing outpatient setting
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort
  • Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to optimize image clarity

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate records of patient history, imaging results, and documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support comprehensive care
  • Perform proper intake and documentation for radiologist review
  • Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe exam room
  • Submit supply requests and participate in quality control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and internal policies
  • Qualifications :

  • ARRT (R) Certification
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
  • Fluoroscopy License
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, professional patient care
  • Basic computer proficiency; RIS / PACS experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently
  • Preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical imaging setting
  • Willingness to obtain CT certification
  • Bilingual (a plus, but not required)
  • Schedule :

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturdays as needed
  • Compensation :

    Hourly Rate : $32.00 – $38.00

    Final pay will be based on experience, certifications, and clinical background.
