Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade within a K-12 school setting located in Edgewood, MD. This contract role spans the new school year and offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population, helping to improve their communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, individual and group therapy, and intervention services for PreK-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Support speech-language pathology interns and CFY candidates through supervision as applicable
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Communication Disorders or related field
  • Valid Maryland SLP license or state certification credentials
  • Credentials to practice as an SLP with either CCC-SLP, CFY status, or School SLP certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students across a broad age range
  • Prior experience or interest in working within a school environment is preferred
  • Location and Schedule :

  • Position located in Edgewood, Maryland
  • 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Contract duration : new school year
