Lift Operator provides safe and efficient transportation for the guests on the chairlift. Must have outstanding customer service. Verifying RFID passes and instructing the guests through the maze. Must be at least 18 years old, have the ability to work in an outdoor environment at a fast pace, and have good communication and recordkeeping skills.

Required : Must be least 18

Excellent communication skills and reasoning ability

Able to withstand inclement weather and stand for extended periods of time

Able to adhere to safety standards and procedures

Able to move or lift heavy objects using appropriate techniques (50+ lbs.)

Preferred :

Previous experience in Ski Lift Operations

Working knowledge of mountain operations

Typical Schedule :

Days : Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday

Hours : 8am-4 : 30pm

Core Responsibilities :

• Assist all guests in the safe loading and unloading of the lift, stopping or slowing the lift as necessary for guest safety
• Answer guest questions by being familiar with Massanutten's layout, products, service and current conditions or referring them to someone that can
• Develop and maintain required and appropriate record keeping and notify supervisor of any problems
• Maintain load and unload ramps around the lift stations by shoveling and / or raking snow
• Check that all signage is properly in place
• Other duties as assigned by management
