Prepare, review and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processingVerify and review payments from payers and patients with efficiency and accuracyReview claims and statements for completeness and accuracy, and obtain missing informationEnsure the patient's demographic and insurance information is accurate and up to dateCommunicate procedure out of pocket estimates prior to date of service to patients / guarantorsFollow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe and resolve discrepanciesResearch and appeal denied claimsAnswer all patient and / or insurance telephone inquiriesSetup patient payment plans and work collection accountsDocument actions and interactions in medical billing softwareCoordinate collection activitiesWhat We're Looking For :
Must possess an in-depth knowledge of medical billing processes and medical insurance policiesSolid understanding of billing software and electronic medical recordsDemonstrates reliability and consistent attendance to ensure workflow continuity and team supportMust have the ability to multitask and manage time efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding problem-solving and organizational abilitiesQualifications :
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Biller or similar role strongly preferredBachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting or relevant field preferredApply today!
