  • Initiate and facilitate relationships with funding agencies, nursing organizations, foundations, local colleges with master's and doctoral nursing programs, and corporations.
  • Demonstrate progression in dissemination of new research and innovation evidence by developing/guiding papers for self/mentees in high-tiered peer-review journals (minimum 2/year- 1st author and 1 as mentor) and presenting at national meetings (minimum, 2 per year) on relevant topics to hospital/ ambulatory care processes, outcomes, systems, interventions and operational efficiencies, and research involving novel interventions.
  • Ensure that oneself and nurses/teams being mentored follow policies and procedures related to confidentiality, research compliance and research contracts, budgeting, etc.
  • Serve as a consultant to external nurse scientists, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Serve on Nursing Institute and non-CCF (external) committees.
