Payroll Clerk
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely employee payments. In this role, you will support compliance with payroll regulations and collaborate with various teams to manage payroll records and benefits. The ideal candidate is proficient in payroll software, has a solid understanding of accounting systems, and is committed to maintaining confidentiality and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Process and manage payroll using NetChex software for employees across the organization.
- Verify employee timekeeping records to ensure accurate clock-in and clock-out data.
- Administer payroll deductions, including garnishments, in compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to integrate payroll data into QuickBooks seamlessly.
- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and manage the administration process.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare detailed payroll reports and assist with audits when required.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits promptly and professionally.
- Monitor compliance with multistate payroll regulations and policies to avoid discrepancies.
- Support HR and accounting teams in streamlining payroll workflows and processes.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll operations or management.Proficiency with NetChex payroll software and QuickBooks accounting system.Strong understanding of payroll compliance regulations and practices.Experience managing payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees.Ability to accurately process garnishments and other deductions.Skilled in benefits administration and open enrollment procedures.Familiarity with multistate payroll processes and requirements.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to safeguarding confidential information.
