Insurance Follow Up Representative

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative to manage outstanding insurance claims and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment for outstanding claims

Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and root causes of denials

Prepare and process appeals for incorrectly reimbursed claims

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience

At least 2 years of experience in insurance follow-up

Working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500

Experience in appeals writing and processing

Knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy
