Salary : $90,000-115,000 base + full benefits and Incentive Comp Plan
Work Setting : Remote, or hybrid remote depending on location
Systems : AMS360 preferred
We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Executive
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Account Executive who will be responsible for managing client relationships, retaining renewals, servicing new business, and maintaining a partnership with the producer to support business development activities while upholding high service standards. The Account Executive is the focal point of customers’ interaction with the agency and is relied on to be the integral link in that business relationship. Using their extensive knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, the Account Executive ensures that our customers are consistently receiving exceptional customer service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with clients to understand their businesses' unique risks and exposures, exercising independent judgment and discretion to provide tailored solutions to help secure the most appropriate coverage for their specific needs.
- Serve as the primary advisor to the client for all tactical matters, using discretion to engage the producer for the most significant matters.
- Provide the client with various suitable coverage alternatives, including but not limited to deductibles, retention levels, and optional coverages – taking into account the clients' operations and claims history as well as prevailing insurancemarket situations.
- Develop and maintain good working alliances with Carriers to facilitate timely receipt of quotations and policies.
- Collaborate with the Producer throughout the new business process to ensure a successful conclusion and assume the management of the new account after coverage has been bound.
- Lead the marketing efforts for renewals and oversee all other renewal-related activities, including identifying opportunities to round out accounts.
- Promote team synergy by providing leadership and guidance to other team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and collective success.
- Fully utilize the capabilities of the agency management system (AMS360), including consistent and thorough documentation of all client-related interactions.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 15+ years experience in all aspects of servicing commercial accounts (proposals, marketing, coverage review, billing, endorsements, certificates, etc.)Strong technical knowledge of policy coverage and rating.Candidates are expected to have obtained or be actively pursuing the CIC Designation (or equivalent) within two years of hire or promotion.Proficient in multitasking, organizing tasks, and setting priorities effectively.Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.Capable of handling substantial workloads with a high level of attention to detail and precision in execution.Able to translate the insurance jargon into layman's terms.Professional demeanor.AMS360 experience is required.A college degree is a plus, but a high school diploma or GED is required.Valid Property and Casualty license.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
