Overview

Circle Y Saddles is seeking a Product Manager to join our organization. You will play a critical role in driving product strategy while overseeing the successful execution of projects from concept through delivery. This position blends strategic product ownership with hands-on project management, ensuring that our products meet market and customer needs and are delivered on time.

As a key member of our team, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain to define requirements, manage resources, and align stakeholders around shared goals. You will be responsible for creating product roadmaps, leading project planning, monitoring progress, and resolving challenges as they arise. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of product vision and execution , is comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and brings a structured, detailed approach to managing timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
  • Translate market insights, customer requirements, and internal feedback into clear product specifications.
  • Partner with leadership to align product goals with business goals and revenue targets.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional project teams from initiation through launch, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines, budget, and project expectations.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Drive accountability and communication across internal teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management system.
  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Function as the liaison between teams to ensure alignment of priorities and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project updates, metrics, and reports to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in product development.
  • Execution & Delivery

  • Ensure product launches are well-coordinated across departments and meet defined requirements.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, including revenue, margins, and turns, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Support lifecycle management from launch to phase-out decisions.
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product management or project management.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to balance strategic vision and tactical execution.
  • Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with proven success delivering on time and within scope.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Background and passion for the western equestrian industry and lifestyle.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Bonus : familiarity with CAD software or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and twisting (approximately 25% of the time).
  • Able to lift and move up to fifty pounds as needed.
  • Work Environment

    This position is based in our Yoakum, TX facility. The role includes both office-based and shop work, with regular interaction in manufacturing and warehousing areas, and occasional outdoor and / or travel needed to support product testing and collaborative development efforts.
