Job Description

Job Details :

Pay : $18 plus $4.55 perfect attendance incentive in addition to $1 shift premium for 2nd shift

Schedule : Monday to Friday 2 pm to 11 pm, some Saturdays as needed.

Description

This position is responsible for providing operating forklift on a daily basis in the Live Receiving Area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position is responsible for loading and unloading combos, skids, and moving product to necessary location.  The position must be to obtain forklift license and able to change battery as needed (training will available).   Must also be able to maneuver forklift / pallet jack around tables and belts, be able to continuously grip control handle of the jack, driver must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel, and any other duties assigned by Manager.  This position is also required to complete various log sheets.  This position will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid or dusty conditions.  This position will require walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis Must maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture, receive training as required & perform various positions as required / assigned.

• Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
• Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.

Requirements :

Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.

Prefer 3 months of forklift operator experience .

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
