Fiction Editor Job at SCARSDALE PUBLISHING, LTD in Cleveland

Scarsdale Publishing seeks an experienced fiction editor for ongoing projects. Editor must be a self-starter who can work remotely and meet deadlines. Must have experience in editing novel-length genre fiction. Content and developmental editing experience are a must. Courses / education in creative writing technique are a plus. Proofreading is a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Work with authors to develop books / series toward publication
• Maintain and coordinate editorial schedule with authors and Managing Editor
• Be proficient in Word / track changes
• Work closely with design to coordinate for publication
• Use Chicago Manual of Style as style guide

Location : Editor will work remotely. This is a contract position.
