Assignment Details

Role : RN Nursing Supervisor (Inpatient)

Shift : Nights

Shift Schedule : 8 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Duration : 13 Weeks

Role Summary & Responsibilities :

This position requires a supervisory Registered Nurse to oversee inpatient nursing operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment and leadership skills, with a background in progressive geriatric care.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

License : Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (NYS) .

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting .

Previous experience working with geriatric, short-term rehabilitation, and / or Alzheimer’s patients is highly desirable.

Supervisory experience in nursing is preferred .

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) is required.

Physical & Unit Requirements :

Physical Requirements : Candidate must have the physical ability to perform job-related duties, which may require lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, pulling, and pushing loads up to 50 lbs. or more as needed.

Unit Health Policy :

Flu vaccine or declination accepted.

Mask required if declining the flu vaccine.
