Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures per physician orders and department protocol.
  • Operate imaging equipment in trauma suites, operating rooms, and inpatient units.
  • Evaluate image quality and adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic outcomes.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety, adhering to ALARA principles and infection control standards.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain documentation, including charting, billing, informed consent, and patient history.
  • Float to other imaging modalities or hospital departments as needed within skill competency.
  • Provide care for a full range of patient populations (neonatal to geriatric).

    • Required Qualifications

  • Certification : ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required upon hire)
  • Licensure : Nevada State License for Medical Radiography (Required upon hire)
  • Certifications : American Heart Association BLS
  • Experience :

    • Minimum of 2 years of inpatient radiology experience

  • Fluoroscopy experience required
  • Technical Competency : Must be proficient with portable imaging, trauma radiography, and OR procedures. Must demonstrate independent competence in these areas within 90 days of hire (validated by Imaging Manager).
