Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Contract Length : 6 months ongoing

Shift Details : 6 : 30a-6 : 30p

Schedule : 3 12hr shifts / week- days will vary, 1 Saturday / Sunday every 4th weekend. No call

Work Details :

• Support Staff : APPS work our surgeons, fellows, and residents.
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month : looking for 2 full time NPs for 6 months
• Patients per day : NP : Pt Ratio 8-9 max 10
• Patient Population / Age : Adult Cardiac Surgery Step Down Unit
• Department Description : Patients on this unit are typically post cardiac surgery patients : CABG, AVR, MVR, Heart Transplant, LVAD are examples of surgical procedures
• EMR : Epic
• Hospital Bed size : 1200. 39 beds on the post-operative unit where provider will be working
• Skills Required : Cardiac Surgery NP experience
