Global Procurement Director

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Global Procurement Director to lead enterprise-wide procurement efforts across a diverse range of categories, including goods, services, and technology. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive value, efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the company's operational and cultural priorities. The ideal candidate has a blend of analytical rigor, supplier management experience, and the ability to influence and collaborate across business units and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business goals and sustainability commitments.
  • Establish category management approaches that prioritize supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop KPIs and scorecards to measure supplier performance and procurement impact.
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, professional development, and alignment with company culture and values.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Real Estate, Travel, and other departments to streamline procurement processes and ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Serve as an advisor to stakeholders on vendor selection, negotiation strategy, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee vendor sourcing, RFP processes, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
  • Ensure contracts meet risk, privacy, and legal standards in partnership with Legal and Risk teams.
  • Develop a preferred vendor list and purchasing protocols for corporate-wide use.
  • Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and technologies to support scalable and efficient operations.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, reduce redundancy, and improve spend visibility.
  • Leverage data and analytics to provide strategic insights into spend and vendor performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience developing procurement strategies in a matrixed, multi-location environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing multimillion-dollar contracts.
  • Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle) and advanced Excel or analytics tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Industry experience in entertainment, media, or professional services is a plus.
  • Location

    This role is onsite Monday through Thursday in our Los Angeles offices and work remote on Fridays.

    Compensation

    The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $95,000 - $230,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
