Pay :
$27 - $38 per hour - depends on experience

Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipmentRepair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring on HVAC equipmentCarry out preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipmentProvide preventative care and repairs for HVAC systemsRepair and maintain HVAC systems and their components, as well as troubleshoot electrical systems and write schematics for their work locationsMust be proactive in ensuring that preventative maintenance of all equipment is done promptly to help prevent future problems with equipmentMust also look for inefficiencies in systems to find the source of any current or possible malfunctionsDismantle equipment as necessary when needed to troubleshoot the system or ensure that the equipment is properly maintained.Responsible for documenting the work they completeAssist with the install of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systemsEnsure all work is completed efficiently and accuratelyProlonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling or climbing laddersWork in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of yearTools providedFour years of related experience preferredMust be able to lift as much as 50 pounds of equipment at any given timeValid Driver's LicenseMust be able to effectively communicate with the general publicMust have the ability to work directly with customers, other technicians and managersMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsNATE / EPA certified preferredEPA Universal Refrigeration License preferredNeed to have relevant education and / or experience related to the systems with which they workMust be familiar with all tools used to maintain and repair equipment#hc196703
