Senior Developer

Job Description :

• Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, automation, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures.
• Analyze available technologies for recommendations for applicable use and best practices.
• Track and manage system performance and identify ways to optimize performance.
• Research and identify new tools that can improve the overall system and services.
• Provide advanced configuration of the Atlassian suite of tools.
• Analyze, research, manage, and implement integrated tools, plugins, and applications.
• Build reports to provide deeper insights into the capabilities of the tool suite.
• Development of script / web apps to extend functionality of the system.
• Help define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced.
• Translate business requirements to technical specifications.
• Adherence to best practice standards.
Required Skills :
• US Citizen.
• Ability to gain DHS Public Trust clearance.
• A degree in an appropriate field (Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering, Math) or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, application, or operating system software.
• 5+ years experience development.
• 4+ years working with Atlassian tools.
• 2+ years experience.
• 2+ years experience in Linux system administration.
• Experience working with source control (GIT) and CI / CD pipeline.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Experience with Typescript / Javascript (Angular 2+).
• Experience with web development (HTML / CSS, PHP).
• Experience with backend scripting tools (Python, Bash).
• Working knowledge of Apache HTTP Server.
• Hands-on experience using REST APIs.
