You will be a Quality Engineer Associate for our cross-functional team. You will support the Missile and Fire Control (MFC) team in ensuring the quality of products and services provided by suppliers. This role will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing quality control processes to ensure supplier compliance with Lockheed Martin's quality standards and requirements.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in STEM discipline
  • Experience with SAP and / or Apriso.
  • Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma.
  • Willingness / ability to travel to support new training requirements and / or program issues / needs as they arise.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills :

  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing / surveying capabilities.
  • Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
  • GD&T familiarity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
  • Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Secret

  • Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
