Looking for an experienced locum provider to support clinic work and call coverage. The ideal candidate is a strong proceduralist with an active state license and a clean background. The role requires full-time availability to ensure continuity of care and includes clinic duties, surgical procedures, and a minimum of 4 call days per month. Support includes a highly experienced and high-functioning APP. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch, including clinic and procedure room coverage, plus night pager call with call-back and potential weekend coverage as needed. The preferred structure is a day rate covering clinic and outpatient procedures, with night call, call-back, and flexibility for PRN weekends. Physicians must provide supporting documentation in timesheets for call-back hours (patient contact time only) and overtime, including a detailed reason for call-back that can be validated for audit purposes if required. Overtime includes hours exceeding 40 per week and must be pre-approved by a manager or designee. Telephone calls and medical record reviews are not considered on-site call-back time, and call-back hours do not include travel time to or from housing when responding to hospital requests. Additionally, physicians are not required to remain on-site during call support, and call-back hours should not be billed if on-site presence is not clinically necessary.
