Job description

Key objectives :

  • Package existing offerings and solutions and develop new offerings and solutions for this market segment aligned to the value stream of the customers
  • Engage with customers to position these offerings and build mindshare
  • Work with the account teams to build proactive propositions for customers in new and adjacent areas of engagement

Responsibilities :

  • Consolidating existing offerings & solutions and contextualizing them for the industry market segment and developing new offerings & solutions as required.
  • Managing the offering life cycle - conception, development, branding and positioning and continuous upgrade
  • Build a short- and long-term strategy for solutions and services for this space thus driving to a leadership position
  • Working closely with the Sales / Account and Presales teams to create and nurture new market opportunities
  • Solution ownership for response to proposals and Proactive propositions
  • Building and Nurturing relationships with key customer executives to position solutions and our brand
  • Skill and Experience Requirements :

  • A sound understanding of the Oil and Gas value chain covering the various sub domains namely Upstream, Midstream and downstream processes.
  • Good understanding of various business areas in the context of upstream domain with specific reference to OFS and Owner / Operators namely : Drilling and Evaluation, Completion and Production, Well and Production optimization, Asset management, Reliability engineering etc.
  • Knowledge of Petro-Technical applications is critical for success in this role
  • Exposure to functions like R&D, Product Development, product lifecycle Management and Manufacturing - in OFS would be nice to have
  • 13 - 15 years' experience in the upstream space for an OFS or Owner Operator is key
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Must have a strong industry standing
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills. This role has many internal stakeholders, and the successful candidate must be comfortable handling complexity in a diverse environment. Experience in working with and managing teams is key
  • Demonstrate strong personal communication and executive presence to establish interest, credibility and trust.
  • Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills a must
  • Willing to travel as per business needs
  • Education Requirements : Master's or Bachelor's degree from a leading college
