Role Summary

In this role, you will support ongoing projects that involve the installation, testing, and implementation of new operating systems and system software. Your responsibilities will include maintenance and debugging of systems software, coordinating work for new mainframe hardware, and researching and validating new hardware and software products. You'll also play a key role in monitoring and tuning systems software, utilizing z / OS components, and ensuring the optimal performance of support products like tape management, security, and systems monitoring.

What You Will Do

• Provide formal mentorship to team members consistently.
• Manage both high and moderate complexity assignments with ownership.
• Lead initiatives and establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Align project objectives with the overall Ensono strategy.
• Offer thought leadership within Global Technology Services (GTS).
• Deliver technical architecture support for Hardware and Software solutions.
• Participate actively in client meetings and new business ventures.
• Collaborate directly with hardware and software vendors to devise innovative solutions.
• Review client software and requirements to propose cost-effective, standard solutions for business proposals.
• Design automated monitoring techniques to identify and prevent problems.
• Document problem analysis, resolution, and prevention strategies, creating best practice techniques.
