Job Description :

As an Entry Level Events Assistant at PocketLedge in New Jersey, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of various company events, such as product launches, corporate gatherings, and team-building activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for event planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination Support : Assist in the planning and organizing of events by coordinating logistics, scheduling, and venue arrangements.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management : Work with vendors to arrange supplies, equipment, and services needed for events, ensuring all agreements are within budget and schedule.
  • On-Site Event Support : Help set up and take down event spaces, provide on-site support, and ensure that all elements run smoothly during the event.
  • Materials Preparation : Prepare event materials such as invitations, programs, signage, and attendee lists.
  • Budget Tracking : Assist in managing event budgets by tracking expenses and documenting financials.
  • Post-Event Evaluation : Gather feedback and compile reports to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all event details align with company objectives and branding.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in event planning, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed for events.
