Mercy's Win From Within Program - Mercy Jefferson Spring 2026 Nursing education partnership with : St Louis Community College Jefferson College Mineral Area College Southeast College of Nursing St. Charles Community College Southwestern Illinois College East Central College Southwest Baptist University Washington Practical School of Nursing (Four Rivers) This program is designed to provide students with various opportunities to grow professionally, receive financial assistance, and experience a smoother transition to practice post graduation. The program will pay up to $10,000 / year for 1 year of pre-reqs and 2 years of the Nursing program. Eligible expenses include tuition, books (including shipping and taxes), registration / lab / technology fees, clinical scrubs, etc. You may be enrolled in Nursing pre-reqs or the Nursing program itself to qualify. Previous transcripts and a letter of recommendation will be required to be considered. This is program is offered at Mercy St Louis, Mercy South, Mercy Washington, Mercy Jefferson, Mercy Perry, Mercy Lincoln and Mercy Southeast. Note that you will be required to work at least 16 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) in a Patient Care Associate, Nurse Technician or similar role. A contract will need to be signed stating that you will remain at the Mercy facility you have chosen for 1-3 years after graduation. The commitment time is dependent on how many years of school Mercy will be funding. The deadline for Spring applications is December 1st, 2025. Mercy has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
