Position Overview
The Business Insurance Agent (BIA) will work as an independent agent and alongside our Farmers Insurance agency owners helping them build their Commercial / Business insurance pipeline. The BIA will grow your own business and work with multiple Farmers agency owners to support Business Insurance growth for their agencies. BIAs make contacts through agency pipelines, networking, referrals and provide product options to business owners. BIAs benefit from that built-in relationship with agency owners who have existing customers for contact.

Responsibilities
Partner with Multiple TexHQ Agency Owners
- Multiple TexHQ agency access to identify business owners, contact, and share valuable product options for their business
- Conduct one on one meetings with contractors, restaurant owners, manufacturers, real estate agents, and service industry companies regarding their businessowner policy, commercial auto, workers compensation and their commercial umbrella
- Become a service provider utilizing multiple agency pipelines and customer relationships to maintain a consistent flow of opportunities
Building your BIA Agent Footprint
BIAs work utilizing multiple agency owner pipelines to get off to a fast startConcierge underwriting support dedicated to business insurance to streamline quotes and close on preferred businessesCustomized and personalized business flyers, ads, lead programs and media opportunities are available in multiple languagesAccess to agent webpage and social media posts create ongoing lead sourcesNetworking & Referral Partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, networking groups, business organizations, and social mediaGrow your business contacts in networking groups, job fairs, workshops and industry mixers increasing Farmers brand visibility.Establish partnerships in target communities to create relationship lead sources for new agents.Growth & Strategy
Collaborate with agency owners to forecast goals and expand targets for local business ownersAward-winning University of Farmers training program for continued learning and trainingDevelop creative campaigns to attract business owners with agency ownersAnalyze workflow and results with agency owners.Requirements
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in business and commercial insurance salesStrong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.Passion for entrepreneurship, agency development, and helping others achieve success.Compensation
