The Specifics of the Role

• Responsible for the delivery of projects from design concept through final completion of deliverables and submissions with a high level of quality
• Able to conduct analysis of various data sets, develop and document design and urban planning concept, and create project presentations
• Coordinates with a multi-disciplinary design team
• Assists with project management and serves as a key client liaison
• Provides technical assistance on topics related to planning, the regulatory environment, urban design and site design for a variety of project types and scales
• Attends meetings with public- and private-sector clients, including governmental entities
• Represents LJC in the community and at civic events
• Familiarity with public engagement tools and processes
• Applies planning knowledge and practice
• Develops intentional civic and public engagement tools and processes
• Practices LJCs core values of integrity, humility and fearlessness
