Primary Purpose : The Senior Systems Automation Engineer plays a crucial senior technical role within our IT department. This position requires a proven track record in information technology, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively as a mentor and team member.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate motivation, expertise, and a strong skill set to provide technical insights that drive the design, implementation, and optimization of complex systems under the mentorship of a Principal Engineer or Manager. You will collaborate with IT architecture to define strategies and engage multiple teams to implement high-quality systems that fulfill business requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass the delivery and support of IT infrastructure, product, and platform solutions, as well as designing and delivering comprehensive IT system initiatives across cloud, non-cloud, and hybrid-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions using tools like UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and convert them into technical requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize existing automation workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure development adheres to governance, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation developers.
  • Document automation processes and manage version control.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation issues to ensure prompt resolution and minimal downtime.

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Candidate Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Networking with 4-7 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience, or 6-9 years of alternate relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with system administration and automation development, particularly with UiPath, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring tools and cloud technologies.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and align with project management principles.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of RPA best practices and lifecycle management.
  • Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SAP).
  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification and Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
