Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for providing therapeutic modalities of treatment as supervised by the Physical Therapist. Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the Physical Therapist, after the Physical Therapist has evaluated the patient. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization, which is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.

What qualifications you will need :

• AS degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association and current licensure in the State of Florida.
• Holds current license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience desired, but not required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
