Staff Accountant

Job Title

Collaborate with an external payroll platform vendor to create a new payroll process, create an Excel template for mass upload, and process employees' payroll into accurate journal entries; Partner with outside auditors to reconcile differences between US GAAP and IFRS, contributing to the issuance of the company's first annual audit report; Generate inventory reports (raw materials, semi-finished goods, WIP) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for audits; develop a fixed asset rollover schedule and payroll reconciliation for quarterly audits; Prepare adjusting journal entries for accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and lease adjustments, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate month-end and year-end closing; Conduct detailed analytical reviews of general ledger account variances to ensure completeness and consistency of accounting; Communicate with the headquarters in South Korea to review quarterly consolidated financial and provided accounting insights; and Review corporate credit card usage for policy compliance, streamlined SAP upload processes for monthly closing, and contribute to budget optimization by aligning card budgets with financial goals. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting; must have taken "Advanced Financial Accounting" and "Auditing" courses; and must have passed all sections of the Uniform CPA Examination.
