Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be an essential part of our daily operations. In this role, you will be on your feet for the entirety of your 8+ hour shifts, utilizing RF Scan Guns to enter and code crucial information for work orders and part numbers. If you have at least six months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, you will thrive and adapt well to the fast-paced setting. This position does not offer a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld RF Scan Guns to enter and code information for work orders and part numbers.
• Work on your feet for the entire shift in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
• Push, pull, and lift at least 40 pounds regularly.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, sorting, and inventory control.
• Perform general labor tasks, including picking and packing.
• Ensure accurate kitting of parts and matching of orders.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate RF Scanners and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and the ability to pass a math and matching numbers test with at least a 70% score.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Comfortable with being on your feet for long periods while standing on concrete.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large, bustling warehouse that requires jeans and safety/composite toe shoes or boots, which can be purchased at local stores. The work environment is not temperature-controlled, and you will be expected to work 8-hour shifts, including the possibility of weekends, nights, and overtime, on a concrete surface.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
