Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Ambassador. Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Ambassador? This role requires a sharp eye to capture every detail while scanning a series of screens. Your strong observation skills and attention to detail will be crucial in spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

  • Site Location : Edwardsville, IL
  • Shift schedule : 2 shifts available – Thursday through Friday (5 p.m. to 1 a.m.) and Monday through Tuesday (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

Responsibilities Of Surveillance Security Guard

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
  • Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

    • Qualifications Of a Surveillance Security Guard

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of an extensive screening process
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sharp visual attention and exceptional concentration
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus
  • State license, if required
  • Call center experience
