Physical Therapy Assistant / OTR

Role Description

Primelight Health LLC is looking to hire an Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist assistants. This is a part-time on-site role located in Edgewood, MD. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans, providing patient care, and supporting rehabilitation activities. Day-to-day tasks include documenting patient progress, communicating with patients and their families, and ensuring that therapy equipment is properly maintained and used effectively. The occupational therapist will be responsible for evaluation and working with COTA to develop goals as well as documenting progress notes.

Qualifications

• Skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
• Experience in Patient Care and preferred out patient experience
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to work part-time hours on-site in Edgewood, MD
• Maryland certification or degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
