Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with an active IN or compact license, a minimum of 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, and required ACLS / BLS certifications. Responsibilities Position is in the Cath Lab within a hospital setting Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM On-call required one night per week and every fourth weekend Floating may be required to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals based on census Cerner charting experience is required Late Team rotation occurs once a week to complete remaining cases Scrub color is blue and provided by the facility Staff are responsible for handling Cath Lab procedures and assisting in Interventional Radiology as needed Up to 8 hours of pre-assignment online modules must be completed before start Professional conduct is strictly enforced; contract may be terminated for unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs First-time travelers are accepted if experience criteria are met Requirements Active IN or compact RN license, or the ability to obtain one before the start date Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications required NIHSS certification preferred Must be able to work with a 3-person call team and operate independently as needed Experience with Cerner EMR required Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Return staff must have a 3-year break before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626235.
