Parkwood Healthcare Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to medical appointments and monthly outings, in charge of scheduling all residents in HC and AL, updating and maintaining schedule book as needed; fueling van, and doing all housekeeping duties in van to make sure it is a clean and safe environment for our residents. This position requires the applicant be a Certified Nurse Aide, and will function as a CNA on the floor with set duties in between appointments.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a CNA Van Driver :

• Drive van on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Maintain and update schedule book.
• Take residents to medical appointments and outings.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus / van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load purchased items into van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
• When no appointments, will work in HC as a CNA and complete other duties as assigned.
