Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Float Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shifts : 3x12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), with coverage required for every other weekend. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across various departments including ICU, Intermediate, Stepdown, and MedSurg, as needed based on patient volume. Candidates will be required to float between these units and work up to two weekends per month, along with two of the three major holidays. Responsibilities Provide care for patients in adherence to unit protocols and standards. Manage isolation precautions and utilize appropriate PPE. Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway treatments. Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy as required. Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary. Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1-2 years of recent nursing experience preferred.
